RETURNS + EXCHANGES
We are happy to accept returns of unwashed, unworn, unused, or defective merchandise returned within 30 days from the receipt of merchandise. All DIY Kits must be returned in their original condition. We do not offer refunds on digital downloads.

If you wish to make a return, please fill out the return authorization form here.
Once you receive your authorization code, please package your item(s) carefully, include the original packing list in the box, and mail your return to:

You may use the carrier of your choice to ship your return, but we recommend using a method that is trackable and insured. We are not responsible for any packages that are lost or damaged in transit.
Any refund will be credited back to the credit card used on the order. We cannot accept COD returns.
If an item returned to Project Threadways was either sent without return authorization or is not approved upon receipt, the item will be returned to the customer and the customer will be responsible for any associated shipping charges. Project Threadways will not be responsible for any returned packages that are lost or damaged in transit.
CUSTOM DIY RETURNS
Because each Custom DIY Kit is created based on individual specifications, we do not accept returns of any Custom DIY Kits. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Please choose carefully as you complete your design process. Use our Custom DIY Guide and Garment Descriptions PDF when making your project selections, paying careful attention to the size chart to ensure proper fit.
If you receive a kit and find that anything is incorrect or defective, please contact our Customer Service team.
Custom DIY Kits are excluded from all sales and promotions.
WORKSHOP REFUNDS
We look forward to each workshop, as it gives us an up-close and personal experience with our customers and fellow makers. Because workshops involve advanced preparation of materials, instruction, and planning, workshops are non-refundable. If you require a cancellation, a credit will be issued to your account with The School of Making for the amount of the workshop.
SALE EXCLUSIONS
The following items are excluded from all sales, promotions, and discounts.
Alabama Chanin Exclusions:
Rib Turtleneck, Rib Tank, Alabama Chanin Core Club, Gift Certificates, all outside vendor products including but not limited to The Factory Blend Coffee, books, music, all collaborations including but not limited to Heath Ceramics dinnerware, such as the Camellia Etched Dinner Plate, Large Heath Mug, Camellia Opaque White Dinnerware Set, and Camellia Cocoa Dinnerware Set.
The School of Making Exclusions:
Custom DIY Kits, Painted Fabric, Limited-Edition Printed Jersey, Essential Sewing Kit, Starter Sewing Kit, All Kit Bundles, The Studio Bundle, Organic Cotton Swatches, Sample Swatches, Marking Tools, Scrap Bag, Binder, Fabric Swatch Headers, The School of Making Label, Measuring Tools, Pattern Measurement Bundle, all books, and all workshops and events.
Discounts cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. Discount cannot be applied to previous or later purchases.
